Thomas O’Malley was on the prowl. But then again, when wasn’t he? He was a player, with good looks and a musical gift that would make any girl swoon. He was the cat’s meow, no pun intended. If you found him with his tongue down one girls throat, then flirting with another, it would be no surprise. Tom didn’t usually stick with one girl... ever. He liked to think he was blessed with a smirk that was flirtatious and infuriating all at the same time... it could leave a girl completely turned on a frustrated all at the same time. He liked to lure girls in, love ‘em, and leave satisfied.
Even though he was on the prowl, he made a turn and headed towards the sports fields. It was a beautiful day outside, so why waste it indoors? Thomas couldn’t handle the feeling of being cooped up in any place. It was definitely because of all the years he spent on the road before showing up at St. Catherine’s. The school was an alien experience to him, but they didn’t reject him. The school took Tom in with open arms, and they dealt with his flirtiness in their own way.
Thomas found other people on the fields today, but there was nobody at the basketball courts. He wondered what was up with that, but it did give him some room to practise his shooting. He may have been more into music, but he was still interested in sports. Mostly Basketball and track though, not football. Tom didn’t like football in the slightest. Guys tackling other guys in tight spandex pants? Yeah, noooo thank you. As hot as girls thought it was, Tom wasn’t interested. He didn’t like playing team sports all that much either. It just wasn’t something he did.
He made his way onto the court and grabbed a basketball. He dribbled for a bit, trying some tricks, before aiming for the shot. He took it, thinking it would go in, but he missed. He cursed slightly and hoped no one saw that as he went to retrieve the ball.

A few breaths escaped her lips with each passing second she continued to run across the track's long path. With it being midday, the sun was at it's highest peak radiating its warm rays over the campus grounds. Just a few more laps and she would be done for the afternoon. Emi Faline Hunter wasn't one to tire easily given how much she enjoyed the outdoors. It was just in her nature to be outside and with those long legs it gave almost an advantage in any sort of running event.
"Hey Em, let's call it break." Her friend had said, slowing down now. Emi returned a nod in aknowledgment, coming to a slow halt as well while catching her breath. "Sure, sounds good."
Emi said, bringing a hand across her forehead to brush aside her bangs. Her hair layed in slight curls, framing her face. While collecting her water bottle, the blonde made her way across the field towards the entrance back into the main building but of course she first had to cross the courts. From where she now stood, Emi could make out a figure practicing little ways off atleast until he had missed his shot. The ball rolled off just somewhat close to her. A smile curved on her lips as she walked towards it managing to pick it up before Thomas could. The girl stepped onto the court, dribbling the ball a bit. "Thomas O'Malley miss a shot? It must be the end of the world." Emi couldn't help but joke, not even really knowing the boy. She had merely heard his name aroud school but apparently he had been quite good at basketball. "Here." She added, tossing the ball his way. "I was kidding." Emi said, resting her hands on her hips once the ball was out of her possession. Thomas felt himself curious as to who had just picked up his basket ball. Surely, by their hands, it was not a jock. It was a person of the female persuasion... the best kind of persuasion in Tom’s eyes. He felt himself fake a hurt look when she said ”Thomas O’Malley miss a shot? It must be the end of the world.”
the girl said and Thomas put a hand on his heart, faking a wound. ”You’re statement wounds me, I was hoping no one saw that.” He said with his signature smirk. He caught the ball as she tossed it his way. ”Here.” she said and Thomas nodded. ”Thanks.” was his response as he dribbled the ball, but still looked up at the girls face. He was unsure as to if he knew her name, but he was sure he had seen her around before. For the life of him he couldn’t seem to remember her name. That was a shocker. A girl with a name he did not already know. He was also unsure if he had been caught playing tonsil hockey with her or not... maybe it was one of her friends. ”I was kidding.” she said resting her hands on her hips. Tom felt his eyes stray over her body as a cat like grin covered his face. She was hot. No trying to deny that. Thomas was almost ashamed that his flirting skills hadn’t picked up on her yet. ”It’s alright.” He said doing the head flick to move his bangs out of the way. ”You know my name, now I don’t think it’s fair that I don’t know yours.” He said stopping the dribbling to hold the basketball in his hands. ”And if I do, and have just forgotten, I apologize for that.” he said with another smirk. If Thomas was famous for anything other than being a womanizer, it was his smirk. The smirk that left girls turned on and frustrated all at the same time. It was used to his advantage a lot.
